Seamus English Hayden
The 5Km Fun run took place on Saturday 22nd February. It was a great success with a turnout on the cool , bright morning of almost 100 adult walkers /runners and approximately 50 children. The rain held off for the duration of the run and much deserved refreshments were served after in the school hall.
First home in the event were 1. Seamus English Hayden with a time of 19 mins 30sec
2. P.J. Blanche 19 mins 32sec
3. Tom Frazer 21 mins
First lady home was Elaine Gibson, followed by Deirdre Byrne in second place.
Noah Pilkington was the first child at the finish line , thus making the Pilkington/ Frazer family the first family to finish, with Tom, Rachel , Noah and Jordan all competing.
Well done to everyone for taking part and completing the event!
