Ballon National School were delighted to win first overall prize in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade. We marched proudly to be a multicultural school. We marched from the top of the village to the bottom of the village. We were so happy to see family’s faces cheering us on. We had flags from different parts of the world from people in our school.
We got back to the school and we went inside. We heard Ballon NS being called over the speaker. We all cheered. Mrs Mullins was so happy. We went down to get our prize. We came first overall. We won a trophy and a plaque. We got the night off homework!!!!!!
